Accessibility Statement
How this site is built to be usable, what we know is imperfect, and how to tell us.
PolicyUpdated 20 October 2026
We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using a screen reader, keyboard navigation or magnification.
01
What we have done
- Semantic headings and landmarks, so pages can be navigated by structure.
- A skip link to the main content.
- Text that reflows and stays readable when zoomed and on small screens.
- Visible keyboard focus, and forms with real labels.
- Interactive tools, such as the licence checker and estate finder, built from buttons that announce whether they are switched on.
- Animation reduced to a still page when your device asks for reduced motion.
02
Standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. We test as we build rather than auditing once, and we do not claim the site is perfect.
03
Known limitations
- Some graphics, such as the circuit-board background, the oscilloscope timeline and the multimeter, convey information visually. The same information is given in text next to each one.
- On small screens the estate grid scrolls sideways.
- The quote form is provided by a third-party plugin. We control its labels but not all of its internal markup.
